Thank you to Doug from Norton Children’s Hospital for entertaining our 3rd-5th grade students with his bike safety rodeo, teaching them the importance of bike safety!! As a testament to the students and staff of Johnson County... he reported that ours is the friendliest county he visits each year!

Due to some roads being covered with backwaters and more rain on the way Johnson County Schools will be on a 2 hour delay. This will prevent buses and staff from traveling before daylight and provide additional time to reassess the situation.

It’s Counselor Appreciation Week!! Please join me in letting Mrs. Valeri Breeding know how much we appreciate her at PES!! She is a huge help not only to our students, but to the staff, as well!! She always has a kind smile and the time to listen to any problems. Mrs. Breeding also helps with the Cheer Squad and oversees the Student Lighthouse Team. We are thankful for all she does.

If your child has ever had services from your Family Resource or Youth Services center please take this short survey and please share. Have they had dental check-up, clothing after an accident at school, shirt because they forgot theirs for a picture or shoes because the ones they had on were hurting their feet, paper, pencils, emergency food, Christmas presents, snacks, attended summer camps or after school activities. I mention all these because many may not know that these were provided by FRC’s for our kids!!❤️ https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.surveymonkey.com_r_FRYSCKyPublicPolicy2020&d=DwMFaQ&c=jvUANN7rYqzaQJvTqI-69lgi41yDEZ3CXTgIEaHlx7c&r=iuLb7zf7k789ivp7aAanDLMUG1L0NMwmjlWtMo0EylA&m=eeIHEzzpzBk14k8gCorO4oc-4AfVt6_7y9u_1f08xTs&s=zV0ZWVEpJLd2GlHxtwUKef2Sxdb76ZplbeoF_zK4av0&e=
