Today, our summer camp group had a wonderful time visiting the Van Lear Coal Miners Museum! The campers enjoyed learning about the rich history of our community and the lives of the coal miners who helped shape the area.
A special thank you to Angie Burton, Debbie Burton, and Danny Blevins for taking the time to give our groups such an informative and engaging tour. We appreciate you sharing your knowledge and stories with our campers!
After the museum, the fun continued at the mini park where campers enjoyed playing pickleball, spending time with friends, and making great summer memories.
