We will have our final Family Reading Night this Thursday at the Mountain Homeplace. We will be reading "Smoky Mountain Rose" a book about "when a rich feller from across the creek decides to throw a fancy party to find himself a wife, Rose's stepsisters, Annie and Liza Jane, start dreamin' about becoming his bride. Right and left, they're orderin' Rose around--not even thinkin' that Rose might like to go to the party herself. And on the night of the shindig, Rose finds herself left behind--until one of the hogs comes up to the fence and starts talkin' to her. As it turns out, that hog just happens to know a little bit o' magic..." We will also have two crafts, Rose's (Cinderella's)dress and a miniature broom. Come join us for the fun!
