Freshman are hard at work taking semester exams this week! 



Wednesday was another outstanding day at JCHS!  We'd like to congratulate these students and their teachers for their success on KYOTE exams.  


Students in Ms. Wetzel’s Biology class had a fun time creating cells out of sugar cookies. Thank you to Ms. Music for the cookies and icing!! 





Another successful day of KYOTE testing is in the books!  Congratulations to these students who passed their exams.  


Thursday's Christmas Week theme is Christmas Rock!  Sport your favorite band's shirt or just a simple Christmas shirt.  You will receive Live School points for participating!


Yesterday began our Winter KYOTE testing.   We'd like to congratulate these students and their teachers on a job well done.  Way to go kiddos!


Wednesday's Christmas Spirit theme is Grinch vs Rudolph!  Grab your Grinch costumes, shirts, or wear the color green!  To support Rudolph, rock some antler headbands, put a red paper rudolph nose on your shirt, or wear red!  Let's get some Live School points for participating!


Earn Live School points for wearing your favorite pajamas on Tuesday!  


Sunday, December 18th, Santa is coming to the JCHS Cafeteria. 
Don't miss your chance to have your picture taken with Buddy the Elf, the Grinch, Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Elves. 
$10 dollar entry includes photo opportunities, hot coco and cookies, and holiday crafts and making ornaments. 


The following grades will be up to date and available in Campus Portal on January 4 at 3:30pm:  1st term, 2nd term, semester exam, and semester grade (or final grade if it is a two-term class).

The deadline to register for the February 11 ACT is January 6 which is right after we return from break.  If you are a junior or senior needing a fee waiver, please see Mrs. Caudill for one before Christmas break.  
If you have a 504 or IEP, please make sure to indicate "Yes, Accoms/Support Needed" when prompted.  See the image for reference.  Once you click yes, ACT will email Mrs. Caudill for any documentation needed and she will take care of the rest.
You are entitled to your accommodations on ACT, SAT, PSAT, and AP exams, but the exam company will only allow them if they are formally requested.

Juniors and seniors going on the Morehead State Campus tour on Friday please bring $10 for your lunch.  If you are unable to bring lunch money please let Mrs. Murphy know by the end of the day today so she can request a bag lunch from the cafeteria for you.  The bus will depart at 8:45 AM Friday morning.
