If you are a high performing 9th-11th grader, you should take the PSAT/NMSQT on October 13, 2020, at JCHS. The fee is $18 (cash or check payable to JCHS) and is due September 15 to Mrs. Caudill in the main office. Once you pay the fee, Mrs. Caudill will register you for the test. Fee waivers are available for 11th grade students who don't live with their natural parents, who are in foster care or are adopted, receive food stamps or medicaid, or fall within the income guidelines linked below. The PSAT/NMSQT is a test that mimics an SAT and also places you in a pool for National Merit Scholarship and recognition (only when taken in 11th grade). For practice exams and what to expect on test day, visit the link below. https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10

In order to speed up the student drop off process in the morning, your high school student can safely exit your automobile beginning at the corner of the pool building as shown in the green drop off zone. The drop off zone accommodates up to 4-5 vehicles, meaning at least 4-5 high school students can exit vehicles at once. Thank you !
