Nice job, Wildcats!!! You make us proud!

Fabulous job, Mrs. Adams! Check out her daily five rotation stations! Students worked on reading to themselves, reading to someone, listening to themselves read and small group meetings with the teacher. Engagement at its finest!

Mrs. Bevins’s class is working hard on their i-ready diagnostic test. Nice work!

Revised dates for Cheer!

A huge shout out to Mr. Bob Hutchison and Hutch Auto Group for our Highland t-shirts, and to Nathan Reel and Todd Conley for their help in making our drone video. The Highland Wildcats want to wish each of you a magical year!

The STREAM Lab has been a busy place this week! #handson #teamwork

Fun Friday in Mrs. Montgomery's room had a monster theme this week. They listened to the reading of "I Need My Monster", made monsters from the shapes they've learned about this year, and even made a monster snack! Friday assessments definitely revealed they had worked hard this week. Way to go, students!

Many of you may have heard the students, parents, and staff are a family here at Highland Elementary and we work together to insure the success of the students. It is the time of the year that the whole school works together to help the Head Start and Kindergarten students learn their colors. In order to do this we will be starting our Color Weeks beginning August 23, 2021. We ask that if possible your child wear the color of the day. We hope that your child can help us teach our students their colors!

Way to go,Wildcats! You represented Highland Elementary well in tonight’s panorama! 💙🤍

Fourth grade students take guided notes on instructional videos, collaborate to complete practice activities, and pass mastery checks to advance to the next lesson in their self-paced math units.
