
Our Academic Wildcats had a fantastic day competing in the Governor’s Cup Regional Tournament! They placed 3rd overall and 4th in Quick Recall. We are so proud of our awesome team! What an excellent way to finish a great season! Be sure to check out the individual placements below!

Congratulations to our Elementary Academic Team! They placed 3rd overall in the county tournament and 3rd overall for the season!! This team represented HES so well! It was a very unique season, but they rocked it! Go Wildcats!!



The fourth grade class celebrates the 100th day of school!


5th / 6th grade UNITE Club members and other students at Highland Elementary created kindness posters and Valentines for Veterans. The posters and cards will be delivered to VAMC in Lexington just in time for Valentine's Day.





Due to the likelihood of inclement weather this week, Johnson County District has altered our meal pickup schedule. The five-day breakfast & lunch bulk boxes for kids age 18 & under will be available for pickup today from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m at all Johnson County School locations.

First graders became detectives today and solved the mystery of who kidnapped Punxsutawney Phil!

Highland UNITE has organized a coat drive with the slogan " Put a Coat in the Tote" everyone in the community is encouraged to drop off new or gently used coats at Highland Elementary School between 9am and 3pm.
