Highland Elementary 2nd graders participated in a Jane Goodall Skype session to learn how Jane has spent much of her later years protecting chimpanzees and preserving the habitats of animals throughout the world.
Our fourth grade students visited the Challenger Learning Center in Hazard. They rotated through various STEM pods and answered questions along the way. They also mined for materials found on Mars and calculated profits and costs. What a great day of learning!
