Mrs. Preece had some much needed help from First Grader, Waylon Salyer. He helped her scan and process the new chromebooks that were distributed to his classroom. I see a future in technology for this little Tomcats!

The Johnson county school district is closely monitoring the weather and road conditions. As of 9:30 pm, we are still on regular schedule. Roads are clear and safe. We will be back out very early in the morning to check for safety of travel. We are doing our best to be in school tomorrow, as it will be our students’ last day before Thanksgiving Break. We will post any changes, delays, or cancellations to our social media. Thank you and have a great evening- and go to bed kids, we plan to see you tomorrow!!!!

We would like to recognize our Veterans who will be in attendance by sharing a photograph of them during our ceremony. In addition to those who will be in attendance, we would also like to recognize any Veteran who is a relative of students and faculty at W.R. Castle Memorial Elementary in a slideshow as well. Please include their name as well as their branch of service along with their photograph to casey.salyers@johnson.kyschools.us.
