How fun was our Google Meet --- Snuggle Up and Read.! Over 65 primary students joined Mrs. Case as she read "The Bad Seed. " This book focused on the Leader In Me-Habit 1 being "Proactive". Students discussed the importance of staying positive and being a good role model.
We are super proud of our teachers and our Tomcats for their commitment to learning during NTI day 1-3. Lots of great instruction, communication, and quality resources are being used. Keep up the great work, finish assignments, and enjoy the rest of your day!

We are so proud of our Tomcat Leadership...Students helped create food boxes, as well as, helped to load them into vehicles to be distributed throughout the community for this holiday season.
The Johnson county school district is closely monitoring the weather and road conditions. As of 9:30 pm, we are still on regular schedule. Roads are clear and safe. We will be back out very early in the morning to check for safety of travel. We are doing our best to be in school tomorrow, as it will be our students’ last day before Thanksgiving Break. We will post any changes, delays, or cancellations to our social media. Thank you and have a great evening- and go to bed kids, we plan to see you tomorrow!!!!

Today, W.R. Castle honored local Veterans! We appreciate all the years of service and dedication you have provided.
W.R. Castle will be having our Veteran’s Day program on Friday, November 15th at 9:30am. We would like to recognize our Veterans who will be in attendance by sharing a photograph of them during our ceremony. In addition to those who will be in attendance, we would also like to recognize any Veteran who is a relative of students and faculty at W.R. Castle Memorial Elementary in a slideshow as well. WR Castle's Student Lighthouse Team was able to guide Leader In Me visitors on a tour our school. These students showcased all the hard work that our Tomcats do on a daily basis and the many accomplishments they have achieved so far!
