Congrats to Jadyn Estep and Kiersten Sagraves who, as 8th graders, were selected as Region 8 All-Stars during the high school regional bowling tournament. That All Star team competed this weekend, placing 2nd in the state!

Eagle Enrichment: Johnson County Public Library helped students paint their own flower pots and planted tomato seeds in them.
Today Mrs Dyer’s class got to be Paleontologists! Student teacher, Ashley Perry taught on fossils this week and they got to dig for dinosaurs in eggs today!

JCMS prides itself in PLC’s and this is one reason why....both teams of 7th grade students working on the same project: Text features in the real world.
Way to go Mrs. Smith! Nice to see students working on fun projects.
Thankful for some hands on activities.... covid style. Our brick and mortar students were engaged in a lesson on text structure in the real world, while our click and soar students participated in a similar activity using google slides. Nice job, Mrs. Preston and Mrs. Burt!
