🎙️ Our Student Lighthouse Team members, Brinley Williams and Arizona Edwards, represented Central Elementary today at WSIP! These two student leaders recorded radio ads to promote our upcoming Fall Festival and Eagles Care Food Drive. They did an amazing job sharing their excitement and school pride on air — shining bright as true CES leaders! 💛🦅🖤 A huge thank you to Scott Ratliff and WSIP for always supporting our students and giving them opportunities to shine!

🥫 Eagles Care Food Drive 🥫 Our Student Lighthouse Team is leading the way with kindness and service through our “Eagles Care” November Food Drive! Throughout the month of November, each grade level will collect non-perishable food items to help support Central Elementary families who may be impacted by the government shutdown. 📦 Collection begins Monday, November 3 🏆 Final day to donate Thursday, November 20 🍕 Winning grade announced Friday, November 21 The grade level that collects the most items will enjoy a LiveSchool spin-the-wheel event with the principal 🎡 and a pizza party celebration! 🍕 Donation boxes will be placed in each hallway. Together, we can make a difference — because every Eagle helps another. Every day is a great day to be an Eagle!

Staff spotlight chosen by our Student Lighthouse Team this week was Mrs. Dara Riley. Mrs. Riley created the Art Club and goes above and beyond by staying after school to help her students bring their creativity to life. Red Ribbon Week kicked off today at Central Elementary and our theme was "A Clear Mind Has No Age Limit". Students and staff had a blast dressing up as toddlers or senior citizens and their creativity did not disappoint. From pacifiers and pajamas to gray wigs and walkers it was a day full of laughs and school spirit. Every day is a great day to be an Eagle!

October has been a busy month full of fall fun and learning here at Central Elementary! Our LiveSchool points grade-level winner for September finally received their reward. The winner was our amazing 4th grade team! Their prize? A kickball tournament with the principal! Students showed great teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit as they battled it out in the gym. Every day is a great day to be an Eagle! 🦅
