The Johnson County Board of Education meeting was a night of recognition and celebration. Students, faculty, and staff were recognized for their achievements, kicking off with the prestigious Golden Eagle Award presented to Amanda Castle and Jarred Gibson for their outstanding contributions.

Exceptional performance and dedication were recognized across various areas. The JCHS Girls Basketball Team, JCHS Speech Team, Skills USA Team, and Constance Martin, a senior who served as a student board member, all received well-deserved recognition for their achievements.
Superintendent Cochran and the JC Board approved a 4% pay raise for all faculty and staff. This increase signifies the board's commitment to valuing its educators and staff, fostering a positive and motivating work environment that attracts and retains top talent, ultimately ensuring continued excellence in the Johnson County School District.
