On Monday, September 25th, the Johnson County School District held its monthly board meeting. The meeting was very informative and productive, with various important topics discussed.
Porter Elementary students led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. They gave a presentation inviting all to the yearly Leadership Day, hand-delivering invitations to guests, the superintendent, and board members. Illana Estep was also recognized as the new student board member.
The meeting was a valuable opportunity for the school board and district administrators to share information and discuss important issues. The board is committed to working together to ensure that all Johnson County School District students have access to a high-quality education.
